I develop statistical methods to improve our understanding and management of fisheries. My career is dedicated to achieving balance between sustainable harvest and conservation of marine populations, combining quantitative and field skills to answer ecological questions immediately relevant to resource managers.
I am currently a postdoc/contractor at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center, where I work with Dr. Tim Miller to extend state-space stock assessment models to incorporate environmental effects on life-history attributes (WHAM). I completed my Ph.D. with Dr. Brice Semmens at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego.
